Bao giờ cũng thế, văn học, cuộc sống và con người là những điều yếu tố không thể tách rời nhau, không thể tồn tại riêng biệt. Tồn tại một sợi dây vô hình kết nối chặt chẽ văn học và cuộc sống, tạo mối mối quan hệ vô cùng mật thiết bị và sâu sắc. Nhà văn Nguyễn Minh Châu đã phát biểu ý rất có ý nghĩa: "Văn học và đời sống là hai vòng đồng tâm mà tâm điểm là con người. Mỗi tác phẩm văn học chỉ là một lát cắt, một tờ biên bản của một đời sống con người ta, trên con đường dàig dặc đi đến hoàn thiện."
